Erateini
Founder of the company, Efrosini, was born in Naousa, where she lives and works. She has studied the art of glass and combined it with her talent in painting, studying not only traditional but also modern methods of decorating and shaping it, in colleges and studios in Greece and abroad. Looking for ways to express her artistic concern she established her own glass studio in 1990, focusing on the field of fused glass. She captures fleeting moments of artistic creativity, giving life to something instant, using figures and colorful dreaming images which she incorporates even in single things we daily use. Attracted by the accidental, drawing inspiration from the unexpected and waiting for the surprise each time, she signs her creations with the name eratini which comes from the ancient greek verb ἔραμαι, which means love, desire. She has several individual exhibitions to her credit and her work can be found in collections in Greece, Cyprus, the U.K. , Italy, France and Austria.

Elotia Olive Mystery
ΕLΩΤΙΑ, a name synonymous with our mysterious history. The history of our land, Crete. Ancient Crete and «ΕLΩΤΙΑ », the devotional name of Europa. The beautiful daughter of king Aginora. Europa fascinated the god Zeus, who infatuated by her beauty, metamorphosed into a white bull, abducted her and took her to Crete. According to the legend, in her honor, the continent was named after her. For her sake, the annual «ΕLΩΤΙΑ» was organized, a celebration dedicated to the joy that emanated from the resurrection of nature, in which they wove wreaths on her statue. Wreaths with lilies, symbolizing rebirth, was therefore our design inspiration. Protagonist then and now the olive. Cretan organic olive, scientifically known as Olea Europaea, the olive of Europe.
